Mohammed Ali mourns dad

Mohammed Ali, popularly known as Jicho Pevu, visited his father’s grave on Eid al-Fitr to pay his respects and tend to the grave. The former journalist and current Nyali legislator shared fond memories of his dad, describing him as brave and loving. He even revealed that he was his father’s favorite child and that his dad predicted his success in life.
Losing a parent is never easy, and for Moha, it has been 16 years since his father passed away. However, he still feels the pain of that loss every day and wishes he could be half the man his father was. Every year on Eid, Moha visits his father’s grave to pray for him, following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad in the Holy Quran. He encourages others who have lost their parents to do the same.
When speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Moha shared some of the things he misses most about his dad. He misses his love, his words of wisdom, and his prayer mat, which he inherited 16 years ago. He prays for his father every day, and although he knows he can never heal from the loss, visiting his father’s grave gives him a sense of peace.
Moha also revealed that he was his father’s favorite child, despite having older siblings. His father believed in him and gave him the responsibilities of a firstborn son at a young age. He attributed his fighting spirit to his father’s influence, saying that his dad encouraged him to fight for his space and predicted that he would be celebrated in the world of media.
In an upcoming biography, Moha plans to delve deeper into his relationship with his father. He hopes to share more about his dad’s lion-like qualities, his courage, energy, and his sacrifice to see his family through. Moha’s father left a big gap in his life, but he will always remember him as his hero, who made him the man he is today.
In conclusion, visiting a loved one’s grave can be a comforting and healing experience for those who have lost someone dear to them. It is a way to pay respect, reflect on memories, and continue to honor their legacy. As Moha demonstrated, the act of visiting a loved one’s grave can also serve as a reminder of their teachings and bring peace to those who grieve.
