Nameless and Wahu’s Hippo Wedding Fears

Wahu and Nameless recently shared some details about their long-lasting marriage on a podcast with Ben Cyco and his wife Wanjiru. The couple got engaged while in college, and Nameless revealed that he had told Wahu about his intentions to propose, saying “Niko na mpango.” However, he wasn’t ready yet and just wanted to keep her informed.
During the podcast, Nameless was asked if he got emotional when Wahu walked down the aisle on their wedding day. He admitted that he was close to tears, but he tried to hide it due to societal pressure. He even had a unique request for his bride-to-be: he wanted her to arrive at the venue by boat. However, Wahu was worried about the possibility of being eaten by hippos in the lake, which made the boat ride quite anxious for her. She joked about the possibility of dying on her wedding day and being remembered as the bride who was eaten by hippos.
Despite her worries, Wahu has been happily married to Nameless for over 18 years, and they have three daughters together. The couple serves as couple goals to their fans, and they continue to inspire others with their love and commitment.
