Bahati switches political allegiance to UDA

Gospel artist Bahati has made a strategic move in his political career by leaving Jubilee Party and joining the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and the Kenya Kwanza coalition. The UDA Secretary General, Cleophas Malala, officially received him into the party. Bahati took to social media to break the news of his move, thanking the President of UDA, William Ruto, for creating a conducive environment for the youth to thrive in politics. He also announced his intention to vie for the Mathare parliamentary seat in the next general elections. However, it remains to be seen whether he will be successful in the nomination process.
