How Iyanii survived a gunshot and death twice escaped death

Musician Iyanii, who survived a gunshot wound, has opened up about how he twice escaped death. Speaking to King Kaka, he revealed that he almost ended up in a life of crime as he grew up in Eastlands, where crime was rampant. However, he chose a different path and ended up in the music business. One day, while heading for a jam session with some friends, one of them snatched a handbag from a woman, causing the police to chase the group. In the process, a bullet hit Iyanii’s hand, leaving him with deep scars. Later, a female passenger advised him against a life of crime and he took her advice to heart. Despite avoiding his criminal friends for some time, he returned to them, but escaped death a second time when he refused to join them for a Sunday outing. The group was killed after stealing again.
