Shaquille O’Neal Calms Supporters Over Hip Surgery, Says “No Need to Fret”, Reveals “Just Had Some BBL Work Done”

Retired NBA star Shaquille O’Neal recently shared a photo of himself lying in a hospital bed on Sunday, which left fans worried. However, O’Neal has reassured his fans that he’s doing just fine after having hip surgery.

“To all the people who are worried and concerned, first off, let me say thank you. And lastly, no need to worry, just had to get some BBL work, AKA #hipreplacement. Thanks, and love you all, but no need to worry, and yes, I’m fine,” O’Neal shared in a tweet, along with a humorous throwback video of himself.

A BBL, which O’Neal referred to, is a Brazilian butt lift procedure that involves transferring fat from other areas of the body to the buttocks.

O’Neal, who co-hosts NBA on TNT, also thanked his supporters for their concern and reassured them that he’s doing well. “I appreciate your support, I appreciate your love, thank you very much. But don’t worry, ya boy fine, I’ll be back in no time,” he said in the video.
