In a touching post, Mr Lenny recounted his first meeting with Kunguru and reminisced about their successful collaborations, which included hit songs like “Baby Don’t Go” and “African Woman.” The pair even won a Kisima Award for best video and were nominated for the Kora Awards in South Africa. Kunguru’s unique style of music and lyrics earned him the nickname “Ladies’ Man” during his early days in the music industry. Apart from his music career, Kunguru also worked in the banking industry.
